proactive or passive?

As part of best practice for your health and well being, it's great to proactively work out your body with your own volition, but equally, I also think it's important to give your body a rest to relax and release yourself from tension.


I tend to think that we live our lives completely by our free will but there are survival body functions which we are unable to manipulate ourselves such as the immune system, hormone balance, blood circulation, body temperature control, respiration, and so forth.


Therefore, it is inevitable to ensure these functions operate properly by maintaining your body in a good condition. That could be massage, acupuncture, osteopathy treatment, or simply a nice long dip in a hot bath, or even a romantic getaway to a private resort... whatever that lets you free and makes you comfortable and feel good!


The bottomline is that exercising as well as unwinding yourself back into good shape are both essential.


So I would like to ask you to take a few minutes to reflect on yourself. What makes you come alive? What is it that you do proactively from your own free will?


And what makes you feel like you're being kept alive by something beyond your control, that it's meant to happen or turnout into a positive outcome by the law of universe not dependent on your own capabilities?


For me, what makes me feel alive is when I'm pouring all my heart and soul into what I most enjoy doing which is not constrained by power struggle and patronage or any kind of silly politics nonsense. I am at my liberty to do however I wish so I take action on my own account and completely focus on my objectives by concentrating all my energy I generate into it.

On the other hand, when I receive team support, warm encouragement, and altruistic acts of compassion from people around me out of genuine desire without any expectations, they seep through deep inside my heart. At such moments I realise I would not have been able to come as far as where I am now without any help by grace and benevolence of others. I gratefully appreciate the irresistible incoming positive energy that brings me the joy of life.
